Enter Reality

Time stares cold his broad SILENCE
Wond’rin what would future present,
Inside his mind floats unkindly,
Dusts, dreams of self’s uncertainty.

                   Reading  the book "The alchemist", i wondered what does the term "personal legends" means. Eventually, i came to realize that it was following what you supposed to do with your dreams without being influenced by the "they" . The old man in the story said that even though everybody liked to marry a baker but you wanted to be a shepherd, you must pursue what you really aim in life and not be a prototype of what others expectations. For in the end, conquering difficulties and achieving dreams makes people happy and succesful. then and Again, i asked myself if  someday i would be what i dream of. Are we really following our  ‘personal legends’, or will it remain such ?  That is, i think, the question.

                   Lessons from Socio10, EDFD 120 and Soc Sci 2 gave me the ideas on how we are expected to act and not just react in our society. I learned that we should have a ‘delocalized’ and authentic self before we could really be active part of the society. What does "delocalized" and "authentic self" mean?Its your business to define it. Marx idea on Alienation struck me the most, with the unnoticed oppresions which is happening daily. people in this context work according to what is favorable to the society, thus, allowing others to control his norms and failing to find the "real self". For example, our society today admired and praised rich and succesful people, an individual tends to attend that status for him to be recognized.He would study hard and work hard. Expecting that soon, he will be "rewarded" and "favored" by the society. Being "rewarded" and "favored" would be his goal when he works then.  So,  Is there something wrong with these attitude? If there is, what? Think.

SIGh! There are so many things that i supposed to do this summer yet i am still here doing some non-sense and unnecessary things. though excited to enter sophomore years, here am i, effortessly instead of preparing,now trying to escape home and dodge household thingies..Nyahahahaha…

The Phone Rang twice as expected when she answered the phone…

She: Hello!!??hus dis?

Him: ah! cno pah bah?! msta?!Kelan kau dumating? (yestrdy she went 2 caloocan)

She: Ah, errr dumting kme khpon… nga pla and2 xa eh…

He knew who was with her…it was her new Special Someone…it was not him anymore…insyd oh his mind swirled the abstracted memories of his with her recalling  those moments when they were alone in her house…He totally accepted the bitter fact that she has a new Relationship now…After 4 months of misundestandings at last,He was very Happy. In fact, He was excited to move on…

A Brief silence stared both of the them when he revived himself and said;

Him: Ah ganun ba…err…cnu ksama pa mo? (wishing na my ksama cla)

She: OO sorry hah xenxa k na…and2 cna lucky at c nanay…

Him: Cge twag n lng ulet aq mmya…or kaw n lng 2mwag…

She:ok! Bye

Him: Bye!

He 4got what he supposed 2 tell her…he 4got 2 tell her dat she missed her at least nd he was happy dat she was home…But He was not expecting any call nor have any motivation to call HER AGAIN…
